**Description**:Regional Director F/M - Middle East (MENA), based in Cairo (Egypt)**I. People Power Inclusion - PPI - SOS Group**People Power Inclusion, formerly Positive Planet International/PlaNet Finance, was created in 1998 and joined the SOS Group in 2021. For 25 years, PPI's mission has been to create sustainable development dynamics for populations in need, particularly women, youth and local organisations. PPI's mission is to fight poverty in the world by promoting economic and financial inclusion in a sustainable and equitable manner. It supports the poorest people to create the conditions for their financial independence while participating in the development of their communities by providing advice, training, support, structuring, creation and evaluation. We work primarily in three regions of the world: West and Central Africa, the Middle East and the Indian Ocean.With more than 60 staff in our offices in Paris (headquarters), Dakar, Abidjan, Ouagadougou, Yaoundé, Cairo and Antananarivo, we are as close as possible to the realities of the field. Three of these offices are regional platforms (Madagascar, Senegal, Egypt) that provide operational support to the project teams in the three geographical areas of intervention.This long-term presence, in addition to the diversity of the teams, has enabled the organisation to become deeply rooted in local contexts, aware of the economic, social, institutional and cultural specificities of the countries where we operate.**Our actions**Economic actors, whether from civil society, the private sector or the public sector, play an essential role in the implementation of positive development in economic and environmental terms. At a time when a new generation of entrepreneurs is emerging, People Power Inclusion (PPI) intends to support the positive transition of all economic actors: the populations themselves (groups, cooperatives, SMEs, etc.), support structures, financial institutions, large companies, but also those who contribute to the institutional framework.PPI has been working in Cairo since 2007 to build the capacity of young people to find or create jobs, provide technical support to the microfinance sector and strengthen local organisations for sustainability.- Today the NGO implements projects in the field of:- Access to employment for workers in the informal sector,- Securing incomes and improving the living conditions of rural communities,- Improving employability and entrepreneurship skills in the governorates of CSOs and youth,- Support for the development of the green economy.With 5 active projects in the region and several projects under development, the NGO collaborates with public institutions and private actors and receives funding from multilateral aid agencies, bilateral aid, and the private sector. The Cairo office is the regional platform for the MENA region.We are currently looking for a Regional Director to manage and develop PPI's MENA region.**II. Purpose of the post**The Regional Director is responsible for the financial, administrative, legal and operational management of the offices and projects in the MENA zone (3 offices to date), for the management of the teams and their technical supervision and for the development of our activities in the sub-region. He/she represents the organisation and leads the development of activities and provides technical support in his/her areas of expertise.**III. Main responsibilities**1. Financial/administrative/legal management of MENA office activities**:- Prepares the annual budget of the office, monitors its implementation and revision;- Supervises and directs the financial/administrative management of the office;- Ensures that projects are delivered within budget, efficiently and to the expected quality standards;- Ensures compliance with the organisation's and each donor's internal procedures;- Plans, organises and ensures the availability of the means necessary for the smooth running of activities;- Ensures that the organisation's ethical charters and code of conduct are applied;- Ensures that financial, administrative, legal and human resources management are carried out in accordance with national legal requirements and the recommendations of the NGO's headquarters;- Ensures that the offices are legally compliant (licence to practice, social security, tax etc.);- Ensures that the office is in compliance with country labour laws.**2. Team management/technical supervision**:- Manages human resources, validates recruitment actions, ensures the development of team members;- Supervises and manages the teams under his/her responsibility in a caring and constructive atmosphere;- Identifies training and capacity building needs of team members;- Ensures compliance with team safety procedures;- Ensures the proper use of management tools by the teams (SAP, SharePoint);- Carry out annual evaluations;- Ensures that regular and constructive performan
