**Key Information**:- Applicant must be able to speak, read & write in English at a high level.- This role supports a USA-based company.- The job will involve a lot of time on the phone resolving customer issues. (No sales calls.)- This is not a sales-based job you will not be asked to sell anything over the phone.**Hours**:- 1st shift time: 14:00 - 22:00.- 2nd shift time: 18:00 - 02:00.**Job description**:**Job Summary**:We are looking for a highly motivated person with a great attitude and excellent communication skills to join our team. This position is responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and resolving problems for our drivers, contractors, and/or carriers. This position requires you to have exceptional proactive communication skills with internal and external customers including resolving issues with a timely pickup and delivery, checking calls, activity documentation, and overall promoting a professional work attitude in a fast-paced environment.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Communicating with customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.- Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times.- Resolve freight discrepancies and keep relevant parties apprised.- Track and report shipment status of loads.- Respond to customer concerns and queries in a timely, professional manner.- Other duties as assigned.**REQUIREMENTS**:- Fast typing with experience in data entry.- Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations.- Proficient in English (oral and written).- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.- Active listener with excellent communication skills.- Sound judgment and critical thinking.
