IT Sales Specialist Job Description- Identifying potential new clients and making initial contact with them to determine their needs and interests.- Speak to customers, either face to face or over the phone.- Ensure the quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes, and then documenting them.- Carry out cold calling to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads, and arrange meetings.- Identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls.- Preparing and presenting sales presentations to all the clients to promote products or services.- Creating and maintaining records to CRM Software of all contacts with potential customers to identify potential leads for future sales opportunities.- Following up with customers after a sale has been done to ensure satisfaction with products or services and that any questions have been answered.- Understanding the technical features and functionalities of the company's products.- Keeping informed on technical product specifications and functionalities.- Developing a sales strategy and setting sales targets.- Consulting with IT developers and management on product offerings.- Preparing and delivering sales pitches and product demonstrations.- Initiating after-sales technical support based on client requirements and feedback.- Handle software problems and faults, referring to specialist technical colleagues where appropriate.- Respond to tender documents, proposals, reports, and supporting literature- manage workload to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals- Interact to do responses for international bidding such as RFP / RFI.- contribute to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's or associate degree in marketing, or a similar qualification.- A bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology would be advantageous.- 2-5 years experience in UAE in an IT sales environment.- Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies.- Ability to explain and demonstrate IT product specifications and functionalities.- Advanced proficiency in IT industry terminology and jargon.- Ability to liaise with management and IT developers about sales strategies.- Exceptional ability in negotiating sales deals, contracts, and service agreements.- Ability to evaluate client feedback and provide after-sales service.- In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior, as well as industry trends and innovation.
