**About the role**:**About the **role**:The Senior Solution Architect role is a critical part of the Orange Cloud practice. Our goal is to be a leader in the hybrid cloud market and ensure that our customers receive the best technical consultative advice and guidance possible.**Main areas of responsibility**:- Take lead in the intersection of "sales" and "tech" with a highly developed ability to communicate clearly with new and existing customers, sales reps, project managers and technicians in the cloud and managed services landscape- Be methodical, structured and conscious about quality while designing solutions and describing services- Write technical descriptions for proposals and value propositions, both in native and English language- Be able to explain complicated technical concepts at the knowledge level of others- Keep yourself up-to-date professionally, and be open to learn new things- Work well in teams, but at the same time be self-driven with the ability to work well individually- Proactively detect and resolve challenges before they arise as problems**Main deliverables**:- Technical solution designs (HLD/LLD)- Write solution descriptions and ensure compliance with customer requirements- Solution risk assessment and mitigations- Assist sales in making value propositions- Assist sales in case qualification**About you**:**Education**:Degree from accredited university in technical field or equivalent experience****Need to have**:**Experience**:- At least 5 years' experience of working in Information Technology and Cloud ComputingProven experience in leading complex Cloud bidsProven track record in designing complex cloud solutionsExperienced with designing Co-location services for clientsXaaS solutions and services across AWS/Azure/GCP, and also VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix etc.- Technologist who follows emerging solution and service developmentsKnowledge:- Solid knowledge of multi-cloud environments (Amazon, Azure, Google)DevOps methodologies mindsetDefining, refining and proposing cloud delivery methodologiesPublic, private and multi-cloud solution architectures, including cloud native, classic hosting and hybrid models**Skills**:- Fluent oral proficiency and very good communication skills (both written and spoken) in native and English language.Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers, with a consultative and diplomatic approachFamiliar with transition and transformation driven customer initiativesNice to have:**Experience**:- Experienced within Big data, data analytics and data intelligence frameworksExperience from working with Analytics frameworks and solutionsContainerization, Micro-Services and Serverless architectures (Cloud native and DevOps)Knowledge:- Knowledge of various virtualization technologiesKnowledge with Software defined "everything"E.g. knowledge of Cloud (AWS / Azure)**Skills**:- Ability to present technical solutions, based on values instead of featuresEnterprise, systems and/or technical architecture experience**Personal characteristics**:- StructuredGood at building relationships with colleagues and customersAble to work effective both individually and in teams**Additional Information**- Highly capable and competent colleagues with extensive experience and expertise in emerging technologiesMany opportunities to learn and grow, both technically and professionallyCool projects, industry leading portfolio enriched with a market a leading partner ecosystemSteep learning curve through participation in various projects and further training measuresInformal culture and clear, direct communicationPlenty of scope for design and the opportunity to contribute ideasFlexible working hours and above standard social benefits**Equal Employment Opportunity**Orange Business Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
