The team leader will verify the fulfillment of all legal (reporting) requirements of our business premises-relevant customer orders through their correct accounting entry in our own SAP system B1 and the periodic declarations of all relevant tax types based on this. He will lead the co-ordination role of MEA branches Hub Team located in Egypt, also work on the tasks together with "PE Compliance" team of the SE TS TCR IB department. The varied and diverse work takes place mainly on the screen and in regular, diverse contact with various domestic and foreign colleagues. Within the framework of the respective company agreements, currently predominantly and in the future mixed in the office / home office.As well as handling different tax compliance matters for the ME Siemens Energy entities and coordinating the respective tax audits and maintaining the relationship with the tax authorities. Also, he will be liaising closely with local finance and accounting team as well as external tax and audit advisors.**LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU!****Your Profile**- An Academic degree in Accounting / Finance from reputable University or college.- Minimum eight to ten years of experience in a similar field.- Big four or multinational companies' experience is a plus.- Business fluency in English language as well as German language is an advantage.- Ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders at all levels, regardless of functional background.- Knowledge across several types of taxes (direct & indirect taxes).- Regional exposure and good knowledge of the tax systems in Egypt, and the Gulf area is preferable.- Excellent accounting skills with ability to demonstrate understanding and interpretation of key financial statements.- Solid SAP experience is an advantage.- Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.- Ability to manage the team members and knows how to delegate the work to others.- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment independently and within the team with high level of accuracy.- Pay close attention to the importance of tax technology, and identify opportunities to tap into the technological spirit to improve work efficiency and quality- Highly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize rapidly changing workloads.- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.- Presentation, analytical thinking, & accountability skills.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in difficult and often time-constrained situations will nicely round off your profile.- Be interested in the challenge of working in a dynamic and fast paced international environment.- Strong willingness to learn and develop.**Your Responsibilities**- Reviewing and verifying the resulting monthly and annual foreign branches accounts for the assigned countries as well as discussing this with local accountants, tax consultants and PE managers.- You will monitor of the periodic reporting of the commercial project departments with site-related orders, check compliance and quality of the data and coordinate with the local site accountants.- Ensure transactions are recorded properly and complied with Siemens Energy policies and IFRS/ local laws and taxes, and adequate internal controls are in place and in line with Siemens Energy International Chart of Accounts.- Lead and supervise the MEA Hub branches' coordinators' team.- Review contract proposal and provide the proper tax position.- Liaise with regional tax team on international projects.- Reviewing and booking month-end adjustment entries for the various activities.- If possible, administrate a sub-function of the SAP-based reporting tool as a basis for the monthly cross-country uploads of PE-relevant postings/business transactions.- You control and optimize process issues for your countries, such as e.g. The payment of the PIT/VAT/WHT or the implementation of the PATAC-PE advice on order structuring in SAP-PS/SD.- In general, you are in close, also proactive contact with the merchants, who are initially responsible for the delivery of the correct reporting data.- Reviewing of the preparation of tax returns, as well as examines the respective accounts.- Review tax calculations according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations by required deadlines.- Oversight on the companies transfer pricing matters and partnering with multiple stakeholders to provide support on TP related issues as well as supporting on the respective TP audits.- If necessary, you will conduct training and support the project managers in implementing the specifications of the business premises guidelines, for the use of the reporting tool and its requirements for accounting documents from SAP-FI and Concur as well as for compliance with the PATAC process.- Cooperate with tax advisors to optimize tax burdens.- Provide the financia
