Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide**Main responsibilities**:Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies:Know and follow all safety, environmental and emergency proceduresRespect the safety conditions & organize trainings to the team on how to handle goods, trolleys etc. in safe mannerActively participate in all aspects of safety including reporting of near misses and meetingsSolve of all safety, site keeping or maintenance issues that are found during inspection that require assistanceEnsure the storage of materials, guarantee the quantities stored and the correct storage conditions.Ensure the material availability, integrity & delivery on time on Installation SiteManage the physical material flows (reception, putaway, kitting, mirror area, shipping) to always keep physical and system flows alignedEnsure the ERP ( E nterprise R esource P lanning) solution is implemented and correctly used by Logistics operatorsWork closely with Warehouse Key User to manage the stock in the ERP system according to the core model and to train Logistics operatorsMonitor & challenge the performance of each warehouse activity through Key Performance IndicatorsActively contributes to the Continuous Improvement activities & APSYS ( A lstom P roduction S ystem) roadmap and leading deployment of all Alstom programs related to Logistics on his own site**Management**:Provide a long-term vision to the team, set yearly objectives and targets, support and coach in achieving these targets and objectives, perform performance appraisals, reward and recognize merits, set and follow up team members development plans and induction program for newcomersEnsure Logistics Operators follow ALSTOM warehouse processesManage Logistics Operators & aligned team members activities to the warehouse workloadManage 3PL and logistic partners (manage costs, budget, invoices; define targets, monitor activities )**Operational activities**:Define the warehouse layout and optimize the storage space (layout, warehouse sizing, slow moving stock / scrapping process,)Plan and manage material receipt, inbound transportation, stock entry, picking, packing, shipping, outbound transportation, inventory accuracy, scrap processRespect any specific storage regulations (chemicals, battery,)Secure inventory accuracy and organize physical counting activities (both cycle counting and wall to wall)Ensure the continually improvement of the warehouse organisation & processesQuarantine non-conforming material and follow up non-conformity resolutionAnalyse the Root Causes of any logistic issues and agree with the internal stakeholders on corrective actions. Follow up on these actions and participate in their realization**For 3PL (logistic activities totally or partially outsourced)**:**Main responsibilities (towards 3PL)**:Ensure that the 3PL and his employees operates in an environment that complies with Alstom's Health, Safety and Environmental policies.Ensure that the 3PL works according to the conditions and service levels agreed in the contract.If the 3PL works in Alstom's ERP, ensure that is correctly implemented and used by the 3PLParticipate in all monthly, weekly, and daily meetings with the 3PL**Management (towards 3PL)**:Manage 3PLs that are in charge of the external stock (KPIs review, steering committee, monitor activities )**Operational activities (towards 3PL)**:Guarantee follow-up and performance of 3PL activities through KPIsAnalyse the Root Causes of any logistic issues and agree with the internal stakeholders and the Management of the 3PL on corrective actions.
