Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and manage technologies, infrastructure, and platforms.
2. Constantly analyze, review, and maintain the network infrastructure security.
3. Plan, design, and implement network capacity planning to effectively manage and predict resources, proactively supporting the growth of the company's business.
4. Participate in escalated incidents/problems by diagnosing the occurrence of incidents/attacks and rectifying the underlying issues.
5. Assess, recommend, lead, and implement security controls and modules to ensure sufficient protection of corporate intellectual property and business continuity for customers.
6. Manage operation and internet resources and inventory, including AS#, IP addresses, domains, hardware/software, and ISPs.
7. Manage platform accesses and operations in alignment with ISO 27001 & PCI-DSS requirements.
8. Manage platform hardware and software releases.
9. Liaise with other global teams and partners in managing and operating data centers worldwide.
10. Implement and maintain network management tools, such as PRTG, Syslog, Nagios, Inter-mapper, etc.
11. Ensure customer satisfaction through effective handling of security incidents and open communication with customers.
12. Work on standby, roster, and odd hours as required.
13. Act as an escalation point for customers during incidents.

1. Minimum 5 years experience in a Network/Security position, preferably in a service provider environment, familiar with service design and operation.
2. Knowledge of DDoS attack types will be an advantage.
3. Experience in ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and ITIL are added advantages.
4. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Infrastructure Engineer role.
5. Solid experience in implementing and administrating Cisco and Juniper carrier-grade routers, IPS/IDS, BGP routing protocol, cluster firewalls, load balancers, and Anti-DDoS platforms.
6. Good knowledge of internet technologies, including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, Anycast, UDP, ICMP, HTTP(S), GRE, SMTP, DNS, and SSL.
7. Good command of English is required.
8. Good command of Mandarin is an advantage.
