Trade Finance Analyst

Our client, a Fintech company that brings experiences from Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, and Traditional Factoring businesses together to build a successful trade financing platform, is urgently seeking an experienced Trade Finance Analyst to join their rapidly growing team.

Job Description

• Risk assessment of Seller, i.e., evaluation of potential clients and regular review of existing clients' creditworthiness, development and enhancement of adequate risk assessment procedures, and preparation of credit risk assessment reports on a timely basis with minimal supervision.
• Make recommendations on credit risk assessment results including credit ratings and credit limits. Monitor credit limits utilization and prepare credit reports.
• Liaise with external credit insurance companies regarding the credit facilities issues of all new and existing obligors.
• Monitor and approve platform auctions.
• Assist in formulating internal Credit Policy.
• Assist in creating and developing risk models and scorecards.

Job Requirements

• Degree or above with a major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in Credit/Trade Finance; prior experience in the financial or banking industry will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Trade Finance policies, practices, and programs is strongly preferred.
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively and communicate persuasively.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Conversant with MS Office applications.
• Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple priorities with tight timelines, and take initiative.
