The role will be reporting directly into the National Sales Manager, Egypt.**Purpose of the Position**:Responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas Haematology portfolio in the respected country through effective territory management, expert disease area and product knowledge and through the building of strong relationships with HCPs and payer organisations.To ensure that promotional targets are realized by promoting the assigned Astellas Pharma products to HCPs, cross-functional medical teams and KEEs operating within the assigned key accounts based on Astellas Way values and in line with local legislation and other promotional and ethical rules that bind Astellas Pharma.Indirectly influence realization of periodic / annual targets (number of units sold, market share, growth) of the area that he/she is in charge of through effective promotionMeet the assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned portfolio and geography.Identify and close on business opportunities through active collaboration with team members.Continuously enhance therapy and market knowledge, sales, and personal skills.Maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements, applicable guidelines, and SOP's.Establish productive, professional relationships with HCP's in assigned customer accounts.Conduct face to face meetings with stakeholders, detailing the patient benefits of Astellas therapies.Build and maintain a strong network with Key External Experts and other external stakeholder to promote Astellas' partnership and collaboration.Provide customer support with training, pro-active information provision and compliant activities.Support sales & marketing activities in the assigned geography.Accurate and timely (daily) reporting of field interaction using the CRM (Veeva).Work closely together with the Sales Force Effectiveness department to enhance the Astellas ability to successfully stay in tune with market needs and to obtain optimal sales performance.Report assigned geographic sales and portfolio results on monthly basis (monthly report) to line manager.**Essential Knowledge & Experience**:Minimum 3+ years successful direct field sales experience with demonstrated ability to launch new therapies in Egypt.Speciality care experience is essential. Haematology would be highly preferred.Should have previously worked with a global organization and be able to collaborate with cross functional teams effectively.Excellent communication & presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholdersFluency in English & ArabicEducation to University level (preferably Pharmacy degree)**Preferred Knowledge & Experience**:Experience managing both private and government sector would be highly preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint in particular)**Additional information**:Full time, permanent positionBased in Cairo, EgyptField based roleWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified
