Quantity Surveyor – West Midlands CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a leading specialist sub-contractor, part of a larger Tier 1 major civil engineering group. Due to exceptional growth across the UK, they are urgently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the West Midlands. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measuring, recording, and valuing civil engineering works
- Measuring and interpreting specifications and drawings
- Building up estimates from first principle, including net and gross estimates
- Reviewing weekly, monthly, and sections of the programmes of works
- Preparing cost reconciliation statements
- Collecting information required to specify procurement requirements
- Recording and documenting information including registrations of interest
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering industry
- Ideally chartered or working towards chartership with RICS, ICE, or CIOB
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The right to live and work in the UK
