    What you will be doing in this role Join our Central Sterilisation Services Department (CSSD) as a Casual Sterilisation Technician! In this role, you’ll be a key player in supporting our surgical, nursing, and procedural teams by ensuring the timely decontamination, packaging, sterilisation, and dispatch of reusable medical devices and equipment. This fast-paced position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our CSSD, and you’ll be following hospital policies and procedures to make it all happen. As a Casual Sterilisation Technician, you’ll ideally be available to work three shifts between 6am and 10:30pm, Monday to Friday and while you won’t be interacting directly with patients, you’ll be part of a supportive team environment and will build strong working relationships with stakeholders in other departments. Plus, you’ll have the guidance and support of our Sterile Processing Manager, who will provide four weeks of on-the-job training to ensure you succeed in your role. Who we’re looking for
    • You’ll hold or will be currently enrolled in a Certificate 3 in Sterilisation Services
    • You’ll have effective communication skills and will be able to build and maintain professional relationships
    • You’ll have proven time management and prioritisation skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
    • You’ll have experience delivering high quality work that meets the required policies and procedures.
    • You’ll have demonstrated computer skills and are comfortable using Microsoft Office
    • You’ll have full Australia working rights
