Senior Process Improvement Specialist Chemical & Medical Device Manufacturing West Lothian This is an opportunity to join a growing chemical and medical device manufacturing business as a Senior Process Improvement Specialist. You will sit under the Head of Engineering, to lead on manufacturing process improvement projects across their West Lothian site. After an incredible 12 months working towards US product approval and with an incoming 2025 site expansion, there are plenty of exciting projects planned. Some key aspects of the role:
- Assess and analyse existing chemical manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, to enhance optimise yield, efficiency and cost saving.
- Ensure all process improvement initiatives align with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and industry standards.
- Work closely with regulatory and quality teams to maintain compliance with GMP requirements.
- Implement process controls to enhance product quality.
- Lead and manage projects from initial assessment to execution and monitoring.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement best practices.
- A degree in Chemical Engineering, other related Engineering discipline or equivalent experience / qualifications
- Lean / Six Sigma qualification and / or experience
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience working independently and managing projects
