Data Program Lead

As the Data Program Lead / Architect, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data architecture to ensure it aligns with the business objectives. Your main focus will be on managing data assets efficiently, ensuring security, and promoting a strong data governance culture within the company. In addition, you will lead and mentor a team of data engineers to deliver high-performance data solutions while driving innovation and scalability to enhance the overall business operations. Key Responsibilities : Data Architecture Design:

• Develop and implement data architectures that support the organization's business goals.
• Design data models, establish standards, and oversee integration, migration, and management processes.
• Architect and optimize data storage and retrieval systems for large-scale processing.

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in designing and developing data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Manage project priorities, allocate resources, and track progress for timely project delivery.

• Create and maintain data dictionaries for clarity on organizational data assets.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies and security protocols for data protection.

• Partner with IT professionals to align data architecture with organizational systems.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure data solutions align with strategic objectives.

• Stay updated on emerging trends in data management and evaluate their applicability.
• Incorporate modern data stack components like data lakehouses and data mesh into architecture designs.

• Masters in computer science with at least 10-12 years of experience in relevant field
• Experience working in a large-scale enterprise data environment
• Strong understanding of GCP ecosystem
• Strong understanding of GCP tools and techniques i.e., App Engine, BigQuery, Cloud run, Cloud Functions, etc.
