Job details
- Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
- MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings for tube.
- Weld and repair door assemblies and sub-components using the GTAW – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) and GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) processes to meet customer and internal quality standards.
- Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
- Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
- Maintain and repair all machinery.
- Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Initiate a Preventive Action Request when realizing there is a chance of failure in the system.
- Assist with cleaning the workshop, tools, facilities, and equipment.
- Provide labor services as required.
- Upload and download material and equipment.
- Maintain the working area clean.
- Regularly check machines and tools.
- Reduce wastage.
- Report product malfunctions.
