- Room Cleaning :
- Cleaning and tidying guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenishing guest amenities and ensuring rooms are ready for new arrivals.
- Public Area Maintenance :
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Ensuring these areas are always presentable and meet the hotel's high standards.
- Uniform Management :
- Issuing and collecting staff uniforms.
- Inspecting uniforms for damage or wear and arranging for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Sorting, counting, and distributing clean linens and towels to housekeeping staff.
- Keeping track of linen inventory and ensuring an adequate supply is always available.
- Laundry Coordination :
- Coordinating with the laundry department to ensure timely cleaning and delivery of linens and uniforms.
- Inspecting laundered items for quality and cleanliness.
- Guest Requests :
- Responding to guest requests for additional amenities, such as extra towels or pillows.
- Providing prompt and courteous service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Stocking Supplies :
- Restocking housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Ensuring that all supplies are organized and readily available.
- Maintaining accurate records of linen usage, uniform issuance, and inventory levels.
- Reporting any discrepancies or issues to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Health and Safety Compliance :
- Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
- Working closely with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Communicating any issues or special requests to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration
- Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a similar role
- International luxury hotel chain background
- English Fluency is required
- Arabic Fluency is preferred
