We are constantly growing and are currently looking for E and I QC Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable quality controls team in one of our projects in Fujairah, UAE.   • Assist in the preparation of quality documentation including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and in the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to E&I works.
  • Monitor all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related E&I / Telecom works, particularly issues of design, procurement, construction, and final handover of the related E&I works.
  • Monitor the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to E&I works and ensure all necessary records are generated in a timely manner in their area of assigned responsibility.
  • Manage the inspection and testing of E&I works in their area of assigned responsibilities, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors under their authority.
  • Monitor the closeout of punch lists established for incomplete related to E&I works.
  • Monitor all measurement & testing instruments employed for E&I works to ensure they are functional and calibrated.
  • Liaise and coordinate with 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Company as required related to E&I works.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to E&I works.
  • Prepare files and maintain test/inspection records and any other quality records generated related to E&I works.
  • Assist construction personnel to identify and resolve problems and potential or actual nonconformances related to E&I works.
  • Advise the QC Manager of nonconformance occurrences and where necessary raise a Nonconformance Report for noncompliant work, monitoring the closeout and effectiveness of the correction and corrective action undertaken.
  • Assist the QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits, including those of subcontractors and suppliers, particularly technical compliance audits in their field of specialization.
  • Assist in the preparation of final documents for certification as required.
  • Assist in the systems commissioning as required.
What you will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
  • 10 years of related experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage)
  • Well versed in the inspection and certification of E & I equipment covering High and Low voltage configurations, familiar with inspection criteria as per international codes and standards.
  • Knowledgeable and hands-on in the preparation, review, and approval of ITP Procedures and method statements.
  • Experience in EPC phases in O&G projects.

  • Has excellent organizational skills
