Mechanical Activities
- Mechanical activities associated with the Assembly, Packaging & Testing of Gas Turbines and Compressors for Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and associated industries.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional matrix organization to achieve the required high-quality standards - on time, on budget, every time.
- Participate in a culture of teamwork, excellence, and inclusiveness.
- Mechanical assembly of packaged systems comprising large electric motors, turbo compressors, gearboxes, lube oil systems, seal gas panels, process pipe work, instrumentation tube & fittings, junction boxes & cable tray and similar items on to baseplates for packaged systems, often weighing over 200,000 kg.
- Takes ownership and responsibility for planning own daily activities.
- Understand and follow assembly documents and instructions.
- Use specialized assembly tools.
- Ensures own quality record information is available and correct to the respective management and quality teams.
- Checks own equipment, consumables, and tools for daily package assembly needs.
- Support maintenance of packaging & production equipment.

What You Bring
- Qualification in an applicable packaging production and engineering field from an accredited university or college.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Assembly & Packaging activities for Rotating Equipment, preferably with recent hands-on experience.
- Pipework and structural welding & manufacture.
- Electrical cable, tray, and conduit system assembly.
- Tubing and Instrument systems assembly.
- Assembly, alignment, and cleanliness of critical components.
- Painting systems.
- Field Service experience maintaining Gas Turbine or Compressor packages is an advantage.
- Familiarity with industry good practice, applicable international standards & industry standards.
- Working knowledge of MS Office is a strong benefit.
- Fluency in English, with Arabic strongly favored.
