MEP Commercial Section Manager – AED 42,750/month One of the leading infrastructure, building, construction and business services companies based in Dubai is now looking for an MEP Commercial Section Manager to join their growing team. You will be responsible for:

Professional delivery of sustainable, profitable growth.
Assisting with the commercial and contractual aspects of a project or business area to support operations and set strategies with the objective of minimizing risks, maximizing opportunities, and avoiding disputes.
Providing strategic input and commercial expertise to support the project, enabling:

Maintenance and delivery of the stated profits and margins.
Establishment of robust and consistent change control processes on the project/area to ensure that appropriate contract price adjustments are identified and agreed with the client.
Identification and calculation of appropriate risk and opportunity allowances and their active management.
Delivery of consistent value and cost reporting, as required for business unit and project control and review.
Maintenance of cost control systems for demonstration to clients, where required.

Working with the Commercial Manager on project-wide commercial issues including securing consistent commercial processes and philosophies, succession planning, staff selection, development and training, and dispute management.
Identification and implementation of process and/or efficiency improvements.
Providing professional focus, identity, and leadership to the commercial function within the project or business area consistent with group-wide standards and objectives.
Supporting work-winning teams, where required, in identifying and quantifying risk and opportunity in bids and tenders.
Supporting key negotiations with prospective customers, partners, contractors, and sub-contractors.

Minimum Requirements: University educated with a degree or masters in a relevant discipline. Possesses knowledge of one complex functional or business area. Track record of success in supporting a major business contract, business unit, or region and/or providing support to a professional function. Likely to have in excess of 1 year of managerial and/or technical experience. Membership of a professional body preferred. If this is the role for you, apply today.
