Job Title: Process/Technical Safety Engineer Location: Abu Dhabi UAE Employment Type: Fulltime Nationality: UAE Nationals Only Experience Level: Fresh Graduate 1 to 2 Years of Experience Job Summary: We are looking for a Process/Technical Safety Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi UAE . This role is open to UAE Nationals with a Chemical Engineering degree and 02 years of experience . The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of process safety measures to ensure safe and efficient operations in the oil & gas petrochemical or industrial sectors. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in safety engineering and risk management. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating process safety risks .
- Support the development and implementation of safety management systems, hazard identification (HAZID), and risk assessments .
- Participate in HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL studies under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations .
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and safety audits.
- Assist in developing and reviewing safety policies, procedures, and technical documentation .
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance process safety.
- Stay updated on international safety standards and best practices (e.g., OSHA, API, NFPA).
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 02 years of experience in process/technical safety (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of process safety regulations, risk assessment techniques, and hazard analysis .
- Familiarity with process safety tools (PHA, HAZOP, Bowtie Analysis, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment .
- UAE National (Emirati candidates only as per Emiratization requirements).
- Understanding of HSE management systems and process safety frameworks .
- Basic knowledge of industry standards like API, NFPA, OSHA, and ADNOC safety guidelines .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) .
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
