Location: Aberdeen, United Kingdom Job Summary: The Maintenance Associate is responsible to perform maintenance activities per the Maintenance Program and ensure on-time delivery of equipment in accordance with operational demand. The Maintenance Associate supports initiatives to improve the maintenance-related Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD), Maintenance Efficiency, People Productivity, and Asset Availability within the Center of Reliability and Efficiency (CRE) or Maintenance Base (MB), or Maintenance Center. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Under direct supervision of either a Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Technician, perform assigned maintenance activities.
- Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems, accurately capturing maintenance related data.
- Comply with Schlumberger and respective division TLM standards.
- Maintain and build competency in compliance with the TLM Competency Management System.
- Participate in and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Prior experience in equipment maintenance, oilfield services, or manufacturing is a plus
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and repair procedures.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical/electronic systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintenance records.
- Good communication skills to report issues and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to SLB’s specific maintenance procedures.
