About the Role: As one of our first dedicated software developer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of AgTech World. This is a 100% remote, full-time position where you'll be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, contributing directly to the growth and evolution of our platform. You'll have the opportunity to own significant parts of the codebase and see your work directly impact our users. This isn't just another job; it's a chance to be a key player in a growing startup and make a tangible difference in the agricultural sector. Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain features for our web platform using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Design and implement robust and scalable back-end architecture.
• Build engaging and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services, including payment gateways (e.g., Stripe).
• Collaborate closely with the team to define requirements, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality code.
• Implement and maintain CMS systems.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability (TDD/BDD).
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues.

• Proven experience building commercial software applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with UI frameworks.
• Practical experience integrating payment gateways (e.g. Stripe).
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
• Knowledge of TDD/BDD principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• A passion for innovation and a desire to make a difference in the agritech space.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
