About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee and manage our warehouse operations and client service functions. This role will be responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring excellent service delivery, and fostering strong client relationships. Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across multiple warehouses, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Develop and implement processes to enhance inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and stock turnover.
- Monitor and manage operational KPIs (e.g., inventory accuracy, order cycle time, and on-time dispatch).
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (transport, IT, procurement) for seamless operations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring service excellence.
- Develop tailored solutions to address client requirements and improve service levels.
- Manage service-level agreements (SLAs) and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Drive client satisfaction through consistent communication and issue resolution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations supervisors and warehouse staff.
- Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on training and development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement action plans for improvement.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage operational budgets and control costs while maintaining service quality.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to drive operational efficiency.
- Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other digital tools to enhance operations.
