Chronos Energy has partnered with a leading utility infrastructure provider specialising in the development, operation and management of large heat networks across the UK. Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join the team. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Delivery of engineering new shared ground loop heat solutions and decarbonising existing systems.
- Designing and reviewing designs of shared ground loop systems at all stages across their lifecycle from inception through commercial operation
- Undertaking modelling of the technical and commercial aspects of shared ground loop and individual GSHP plant operations
- Undertaking site inspections, snagging and witness of commissioning for assets being built ahead of adoption or handover from our contractors
- Assisting with the development of project budgets and estimates, ensuring designs meet requirements
- Reviewing design software used in the development of heat network design and implementing Standards and Procedures
- Experience and knowledlge with individual heat pumps or centralised ground source heat pumps
- Knowledge of project management and contract management procedures
- Excellent communication skills and problem solving
- Have a good commercial awareness
