IT Deployment Engineer (Laptop Rollout) Contract Type: Daily Rate Contract Location: Leinster (Various Locations) Start Date: Training on 21st February, with a planned start on 1st March

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to support a large-scale laptop rollout project across multiple sites in Ireland. The role will involve software testing, software deployment, and basic laptop installations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducting pre-deployment testing of software and hardware.
2. Installing and configuring laptops for end-users.
3. Deploying and updating software applications.
4. Providing basic end-user training on laptop usage.
5. Troubleshooting installation and configuration issues.
6. Ensuring all deployment activities adhere to company policies and best practices.
7. Maintaining accurate records of deployments and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced IT Deployment Engineer with a strong understanding of Windows OS, software installation, and basic networking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT deployment, laptop rollouts, or similar roles. They must have excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills are essential, and the ability to provide basic training to end-users is a plus. A full clean driving licence is required, and Garda vetting will be conducted before the start date.

Contract Details:
