Data Centre Project Engineer Location: Dublin, Ireland

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of data centre infrastructure projects across the EMEA region, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Manage all aspects of program management, including planning, milestone setting, deliverable tracking, data collection, risk assessment, and reporting.
  • Drive seamless program execution and delivery through continuous monitoring and effective implementation strategies.
  • Act as the main point of communication for program plans, risks, and issues, providing timely updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to proactively identify challenges, mitigate risks, and resolve project roadblocks.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, power supply solutions, and other critical infrastructure, with a focus on compliance and delivery standards.
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years in project engineering or management, including participation in at least two successful data centre delivery projects or equivalent infrastructure projects.

Communication:

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex discussions.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

  • Specialized Knowledge: Deep expertise in data centre power systems, HVAC principles, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory compliance.

Technical Tools:

Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design and simulation software.

Certifications:

Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Electrical Engineer or HVAC Engineer.

Supplier Management:

Strong skills in managing vendors, contractors, and suppliers, with exceptional negotiation capabilities.
