- Manage the business’ risks and controls, including any regulatory requirements, policy breaches, operational risk events, and complaints.
- Complete quality assurance and manage engagement with assurance and audit teams across the three lines of defence. Where issues are identified, ensure that appropriate mitigating actions are agreed and tracked through to completion within agreed due dates.
- Support with regulatory and governance oversight, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present reports for Senior Management and various fora/committees.
- Participate in Change initiatives to drive process improvements, system automation and enhanced MI.
- Actively develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with business goals.
- Minimum of 3 years banking/financial services experience desirable.
- Previous experience in an operational risk, business support, quality assurance or compliance focused role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work to challenging deadlines.
