Here at Lion, we are searching for our next Commercial Analyst - Supply Chain to join our Finance Team in Sydney, reporting into our Finance Manager – Supply Chain. You will play an important role in driving efficient planning and reporting, as well as business partnering to provide governance and commercial insight to enable better decisions and manage business performance. You will work closely with finance and Supply Chain stakeholders, providing an excellent opportunity to develop both your soft skills and knowledge of a core part of Lion’s business. The position is full time and hybrid, which means you’ll have the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week. A day in the life
- Conduct analysis and provide commercial insights to support value-adding decision-making
- Deliver quality forecasting, analysis, insight generation and reporting
- Identify risks and opportunities that could impact commercial performance
- Ensure timely, accurate and insightful management of the P&L and balance sheet
- Identify and implement system and process improvements.
- Strong data and analytical modelling and system skills
- Experience generating and sharing value-adding insights
- A record of delivering system and process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated relationship-building skills
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Accounting/Finance
- An accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA) or working towards
- 3+ years postgraduate experience
- Experience working for a large consumer goods company in a commercial finance role supporting supply chain and manufacturing (experience in an alcoholic beverages company would be a major advantage).
