Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Specialty: Mechanical Engineer Education Degree:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of international codes and references. Experience:
  • 8+ years proven experience in quality assurance & quality control or construction related areas
  • 4+ years in construction or project QA/QC in HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting disciplines
Primary Functions:
  • Inspect and monitor Projects in relation to Quality Assurance and Quality Control; escalate non-compliance and violations of scope, codes, and standards
  • Review applicable contractual requirements (technical standards, specifications, etc.)
  • Review QHSE drawings/files/plans and relevant procedures, validation of inspection assignment documentation
  • Execution or supervision of inspections according to predefined Project Quality plan
  • Monitor equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper installation, operation, and calibration
  • Execution of inspection reporting including non-conformities (NCR's) and corrective actions
  • Interpret results of surveys or inspections
  • Coordinate with Client Representative for handing over new Work Inspection Requests (WIR)
  • Prepare routine inspection reports and conduct meetings with construction team
  • Accurately document results/comments of inspections and testing
  • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for corrective action
  • Prepare Weekly/Monthly Quality reports with applicable KPIs established for the Project
Technical Expertise:
  • Knowledge of standards and project design and construction requirements in area of specialty
  • Knowledge of QA/QC standards
  • Knowledge of design and construction regulations and requirements in KSA
