About the company Allura Partners is working with a Private Equity backed fintech business, seeking an FP&A Analyst with SQL experience.About the role
This role will sit within the Financial Planning & Analysis team, where you'll play a key role in supporting financial and operational decision-making. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to provide insightful analysis and reporting on key performance metrics.Duties/Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, scenario analyses, and forecasts to support business performance and growth.
- Perform in-depth data analysis, identifying trends and insights to assist senior stakeholders with strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with both finance and non-finance teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Provide regular financial reporting, including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and insights to senior leadership.
- Assist in the preparation of board reports and presentations for investors and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and emerging opportunities in the education sector.
Skills and experience
- Strong financial modelling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience working with large data sets, financial systems, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract actionable insights from data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
- Strong proficiency with SQL required.
