As the Payroll Team Leader, you will supervise and mentor a small team, and act as 2IC to the National Payroll Manager.About the Role
- Support the National Payroll Manager in the delivery of effective and efficient payroll operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of your team, including the management of the payroll workload to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure that your team demonstrates a strong customer service focus; responding to pay queries in a timely manner and possessing the capability and expertise to achieve high quality service.
- Handle complicated third party calculations.
- Report preparation.
- Undertake projects to improve payroll processes, controls and ensure compliance.
- Support all internal and external audits related to payroll.
- Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.
About You
You must be able to demonstrate 3 years+ of senior payroll experience and have a high level of end-to-end payroll knowledge. You should be a solutions-focused and empathetic leader, with the ability to mentor and guide others. This position will require you to work on, at times, technical projects in conjunction with IT, therefore will require a reasonable level of systems proficiency.The Benefits
