All of our output is underpinned by our highly performing Ambulance Support Coordinator team. We are seeking a dedicated Ambulance Support Coordinator to join our team for a 12-month full-time maximum term contract and play a key role in ensuring high-quality operational planning and coordination for the entire NT ambulance service. Job Overview: The Ambulance Support Coordinator will provide high-level operational roster planning and resource modelling to maintain consistent service delivery across the ambulance service. Key responsibilities will include:
- Rostering of Ambulance Operational Staff in regions across the NT
- Roster planning and resource allocation, including long-term roster development
- Operational support with rostering of short-term shift coverage
- Administration support for major events, major incidents, and disasters
- External client relations for information requests
- Administrative support for Ambulance regional management
- Understanding or ability to learn rostering processes and systems in a shift work environment.
- Highly organised with exceptional time-management skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
- The capability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple priorities and competing demands.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands in a dynamic environment.
- Sound knowledge of legislation, awards, policies, and procedures relevant to rostering management processes.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, databases, and computer software packages.
