JOB MAIN PURPOSE: The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage key financial operations at Aerial Solutions Company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and the smooth functioning of accounting processes. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of financial principles, and the ability to lead and mentor junior accounting staff. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting and Accounting: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes. Monitor and report financial performance to management, highlighting key metrics and variances.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Supervise and review the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Review aging reports and oversee collections and payments to optimize cash flow.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Analyze variances between actuals and budgets, providing detailed insights and recommendations.
Taxation and Compliance: Prepare and review VAT, withholding tax, and other regulatory filings to ensure timely submission. Ensure compliance with local regulations and financial reporting standards.
Reconciliation and Audits: Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts, ledgers, and inter-company accounts. Liaise with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations to finalize audits.
Banking and Treasury Management: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure efficient banking operations. Oversee bank facilities, including loan documentation, guarantees, and other financial arrangements. Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate funds for operational needs. Handle bank reconciliations, payment processing, and resolution of discrepancies.
Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure financial stability and liquidity. Support treasury activities, including debt facilities and daily cash management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (CMA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent) are highly preferred. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, audit & Finance. Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory requirements. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an added advantage. Skills and Competencies: Exceptional knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI will be an added advantage. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
