IT Project Manager

Position Overview: The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role will involve coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Coordinator will also oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle, particularly for projects related to D365, infrastructure, and a variety of IT and technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and manage IT projects, ensuring they are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  3. Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  4. Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  5. Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  6. Oversee the deployment of D365 solutions, ensuring compliance with business requirements and technical specifications.
  7. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  8. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  9. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, particularly for infrastructure and IT initiatives.
  10. Report and escalate to management as needed.
  11. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven working experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager, particularly in IT projects related to D365, infrastructure, and a wide range of other IT and technology areas.
  3. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planner, etc.).
  8. Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
Skills:
  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  2. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  3. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  4. Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  5. Ability to work on tight deadlines.
