SQL Developer Location: Fully Remote Our clients are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join their Application Development team. This role is crucial to the successful delivery of development projects, supporting our client’s multi-site retail business and central functions. You will play a key role in identifying business needs, developing solutions, and ensuring ongoing system support. Key Responsibilities
- Application Development & Database Management
- Develop high-quality SQL database solutions to support business operations.
- Design, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions.
- Create and maintain custom reports while modifying ERP user forms to enhance productivity.
- Ensure database stability, reliability, and performance.
- Research and analyse business reporting requirements, building appropriate data-driven solutions.
- Continuously improve existing SQL queries and suggest new optimisations.
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration and integration.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Provide timely and scheduled management reports.
- Maintain a robust reporting and control environment across the business.
- Investigate and resolve exceptions related to asset movements.
- Support project delivery, changes, and incident management.
- Proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SSRS & SSIS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Microsoft SQL certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with Azure, U-SQL, and Data Lake technologies.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience in project administration or those aspiring to transition into project management.
