Senior IT Consultant

Leveraging expertise in API integration, cloud solutions, Java, Spring frameworks, AWS, and middleware, you will collaborate with stakeholders and guide technical teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. This role demands strategic decision-making, multi-project management, and team mentorship, with full ownership of end-to-end project execution. You will ensure seamless business-technology alignment, proactively addressing challenges and driving sustainable solutions. With significant exposure to project and people management, you will play a key role in shaping business-IT strategies, leading complex technical engagements, and driving enterprise-wide innovation.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Consult & Advise:

• Partner with clients to understand their IT challenges and recommend innovative solutions.
• Participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews.

Integration & Development:

• Design, develop, and implement API-driven enterprise solutions with Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.
• Understand requirements, create, and review designs, and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain.
• Lead cloud migration projects, leveraging AWS services to improve scalability and reduce costs.

Middleware & API Management:

• Oversee the integration of enterprise systems using Oracle SOA Suite, REST/SOAP APIs, and Amadeus Web Services.
• Manage full-cycle IT projects, from requirement gathering to production deployment, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal performance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as a liaison between IT teams and business units to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Identify and maintain relationships with technology and product teams, communicating clear actions to operations teams to support production.

Troubleshooting & Optimization:

• Analyze system bottlenecks and implement strategies to enhance performance, security, and reliability .

Technical Documentation:

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including integration specifications and solution architectures.

Leadership:

• You will coach and mentor other team members with varying experience, skillsets, and domain expertise.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in backend development, enterprise IT consulting, or integration projects.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Integration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP API development, XML, XSD, WSDL, Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (GitHub, Bamboo, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience working in Airline, Travel, or E-commerce industries (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive technical decisions.
