Job Title : Corporate Communications Director (with Financial Communications Expertise) Location : Riyadh Job Summary : The Corporate Communications Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the company's reputation, build trust with stakeholders, and support business objectives. This position requires expertise in corporate communications and a strong background in financial communications to effectively engage with investors, analysts, media, and other key audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, exceptional storytelling abilities, and the capability to manage complex communication challenges in a dynamic corporate environment. Key Responsibilities

Corporate Communications Strategy

  • Develop and implement a cohesive corporate communications strategy aligned with the company's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all communication channels, including press releases, speeches, social media, and internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and promote the company's narrative, highlighting achievements, innovations, and long-term growth plans.

Financial Communications

  • Lead the development of financial communication materials, including quarterly earnings reports, annual reports, investor presentations, and disclosures.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Investor Relations teams to translate financial data into clear, accessible messaging for stakeholders.
  • Manage communications for financial milestones such as IPOs, mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor market sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform communication strategies.

Reputation and Crisis Management

  • Serve as a key spokesperson and manage corporate reputation during crises, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Anticipate potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate reputational challenges.

Media and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Cultivate strong relationships with financial and mainstream media, industry analysts, and other key influencers.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and media briefings, positioning the organization as a thought leader.
  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other public-facing materials.

Internal Communications

  • Oversee internal communications to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and foster employee engagement.
  • Develop strategies to keep employees informed about company performance, financial updates, and strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of communication professionals to deliver high-quality work.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Marketing, Sustainability, and HR, to ensure communication alignment across the organization.
Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Finance, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

Professional Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or financial communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial communications, including financial reporting, investor relations, or capital markets communication.
  • Proven success in managing complex corporate and financial communication challenges, such as IPOs, mergers, or crises.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, regulatory frameworks, and capital markets.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders, including media and investors.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
