Executive Assistant & Board Administrator - Financial Services Exceptional opportunity for an Executive Assistant & Board Administrator to join this leading Financial Services organisation which has been enjoying significant growth through major acquisitions. Contributing to the excellent governance of the organisation, you will provide administrative and governance support to this well-established, high-performing Company Secretarial team. This role offers a 50/50 working arrangement from home and the office, ensuring a flexible and positive culture. Responsibilities: - Provide assistance and support to the Company Secretary and the General Counsel to ensure all company secretarial functions are managed and completed to a high standard and within their respective deadlines.
- Assist with meetings of the Board, Board Committees, Management Boards and Management Committees, including preparation of calendars, notices, agendas, board travel and accommodation arrangements, Board room set up and catering arrangements and other ad-hoc matters as required.
- Responsible for uploading all Board and Committee agendas and papers onto Diligent Board.
- Point of contact for Board interaction.
- Assist the Company Secretary and the General Counsel with attending to corporate governance and compliance requirements, including updating and maintaining policies, documentation and charters required to ensure compliance with ASIC and APRA requirements and prudential standards.
- Assist with preparation and lodgment of regulatory documents and maintenance of company registers.
- Assisting with the coordination and running of the Director Elections and the AGM.
Requirements: - Minimum 3-4 years experience as an Executive Assistant providing support to a General Counsel & Company Secretary.
- Experience in an APRA regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Company Secretarial and Corporate Governance knowledge.
- Knowledge and experience with Diligent/ Board Portals.
- Background in the Financial Services industry.
- Qualifications from the Governance Institute of Australia.
