About Us: Sanabil Venture Studio, a partnership between Sanabil Investments and Stryber, merges top-tier talent, seasoned founders, and robust funding to propel startups to unicorn status. Leveraging a blend of industry, technology, and startup expertise, we generate and evaluate visionary ideas, and take them from idea to building and launching MVPs. If an MVP we build proves to be successful, we provide targeted seed funding, ensuring each venture is equipped with the financial foundation to meet its ambitious goals. Beyond early stage development and funding, we provide ongoing support to our portfolio ventures and founders in their pursuit of scaling their startups. We are building an Open Banking-powered Credit Decision Engine venture designed to serve as a core solution for lenders across Saudi Arabia. Our mission is to revolutionize credit accessibility and decision-making in the Saudi market by harnessing real-time open banking data and advanced analytics. This innovative engine offers a streamlined, compliant, and data-driven approach to credit assessment, enabling lenders to better serve their customers and expand their reach. As Co-Founder of our Open Banking Credit Decision Engine venture , you will play a pivotal role in establishing the foundation and driving the early success of this innovative venture. With your expertise in managing and scaling businesses in the financial sector, you will guide the venture through its critical growth phase by overseeing strategy, operations, and the development of robust systems. As the Co-founder of our venture, you will play a key role in driving our success by:

  • Developing and implementing strategic business plans and procedures
  • Overseeing daily operations, including product, risk engine, partnerships, business development, HR, and compliance
  • Setting the venture's short- and long-term goals, culture, vision, and mission
  • Ensuring that branding, marketing, business development and sales initiatives are in place to achieve growth targets
  • Managing investor relations, including presenting to the board and monitoring key performance indicators
  • Leading the training and development of new team members and future leaders of the venture
  • Ensuring risk management, compliance, and finance are appropriately managed
  • Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent
About you:
  • You are based in Saudi Arabia with significant senior-level experience in the financial services sector (Banking, Fintech, Lending)
  • You have a deep understanding of the consumer lending credit risk space, with key experience in credit risk assessment for retail loans
  • You have worked in a startup, ideally as a co-founder, or in a senior position in a fintech startup post series A
  • You possess a wealth of experience in the key areas of growth, marketing, and sales
  • You have an understanding of business functions such as finance, risk management, compliance, and startup operations
  • You have outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • You can set ambitious targets while staying on top of the venture cash flow
  • You have entrepreneurial grit and are not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • You have seen 'greatness' in your previous experience, e.g., you have experienced what it is like to grow a startup from a few employees to hundreds, etc.
  • You have a burning desire to scale the venture and are willing to take all the sacrifices and risks it comes with it
  • Plus: You hold a Master's degree with outstanding academic results
