Job details

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive testing on substation equipment.
  2. Develop and implement test plans based on industry standards, engineering specifications, and equipment manuals.
  3. Analyze test data to identify discrepancies, potential problems, and ensure equipment performance meets specifications.
  4. Prepare detailed test reports documenting test procedures, results, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  5. Troubleshoot electrical equipment malfunctions and diagnose the root cause of problems.
  6. Participate in commissioning activities for new or upgraded substation equipment.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all testing activities and equipment calibration certificates.
  8. May assist with preventive maintenance programs for substation equipment (depending on the company).
  9. Stay up to date on industry standards, testing procedures, and new technologies related to substation testing.
Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Work Experience: 4 to 10 Years. Required Skills:
  1. Strong understanding of electrical power systems and substation equipment.
  2. Experience using electrical testing equipment and data analysis tools.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety procedures.
