Industry Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology, and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders. Job Requirements Please note this role is to pipeline for future openings. Partner with the best As a Manufacturing Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Preparing and releasing of work instructions detailing assembly/packaging operations and development of packaging processes and procedures.
  • Designing and validating of manufacturing tooling/fixtures.
  • Providing electro-mechanical support to production floor.
  • Creating of product routings within ERP system, Quality Control sheets, manufacturing forms.
  • Supporting all aspects of pre-production and post-launch production through to project closure.
  • Influencing design to ensure new designs are optimized for manufacture, performance, yield, and cost.
  • Leading process mapping activities to identify manufacturing risks and optimize build/test processes.
  • Providing dedicated technical support to the packaging operations providing quick and effective solutions to daily production issues.
  • Supporting new product introductions, custom product NCR resolution.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will:
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in compressors or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Have experience in rotating equipment.
  • Have fluency in English and Arabic.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Have packaging experience for compressors or turbine trains.
  • Familiar with lifting plan for heavy items.
  • Have experience and high level of technical expertise and skill to plan, design, set up, modify, optimize and monitor manufacturing processes.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Have ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
