Job Purpose This Position exists to plan, control and monitor the execution of electrical related project tasks efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments. Key Accountability Areas
Project Support:
- Assist project teams by contributing to the preparation of technical proposals for GRMS.
- Support the coordination of financial proposals under the guidance of senior engineers.
Development:
- Participate in the development of hardware and software for smart home and building automation products and solutions.
- Assist in research and development activities to explore new solutions and stay informed about emerging technologies.
Testing and Analysis:
- Assist in testing and analyzing trial projects, providing technical support and reporting findings from field tests.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and improve system performance.
Experimentation and Integration:
- Support experimentation activities in the integration laboratory to test new concepts and technologies.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Assist in documenting solutions and systems for smart homes.
- Prepare basic reports on tasks accomplished, including technical evaluations, plans, and remedies, with guidance from senior engineers.
Program Development:
- Assist in utilizing and developing programs, software tools, and applications required for smart home systems.
Customer Complaints Analysis:
- Help analyze customer complaints regarding defective products and suggest necessary remedies in collaboration with senior engineers.
Overall Development Objectives:
- Execute assigned tasks to contribute to achieving solution and product development objectives.
Strategy Implementation:
- Support the execution of Alfanar Smart Solutions strategy for homes and buildings under the direction of senior engineers.
HR Proficiency:
- Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job
- To have a vision and a plan for the career path and how to achieve it.
Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
