  • Define/determine project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Outline a budget based on requirements and track costs to deliver project on budget
  • Prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities
  • Manage delivery of the project according to this plan
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Track project and provide regular reports on project status to management and key stakeholders
  • Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Manage the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
In terms of programs,
  • Plan, oversee, and manage the development and execution of the program. Manage the implementation of the program’s schedule, which will include: consultant trainings, mentorship sessions, retreats/activities, pitch sessions, weekly/monthly meetings, etc.
  • Design full program, processes, playbooks, and policies to standardize and scale the program
  • Provide logistical and operational support and oversight to program associates and participants
  • Continually revise and maintain a flexible curriculum that is aligned with current best practices
  • Design and administer surveys and other assessment tools to capture and analyze data for program planning, decision-making, and reporting
  • Partner with government agencies, stakeholders, industry experts, and outside vendors to improve the quality, scope, and delivery of programs
  • Identify and initiate working relationships and develop and maintain them that is of mutual benefit
  • Exchange information and ideas among participants, visitors, clients, and colleagues with a common profession or special interest
  • Work with SEA Ventures leadership team to identify ways to incorporate the program into other business lines
  • Identify/head hunt high potential individuals/startups to join the program locally and internationally if required
  • Manage recruitment and selection of portfolio of individuals/startups. In addition, support in the recruitment of project-based employees as well as to onboard and train program associates
  • Set expectations and key performance metrics for direct reports (Program Associates)
  • Provide strategy consulting to startups in areas such as business model, client acquisition, overall strategy, financing, fundraising, market research, operations, branding, etc.
  • Provide targeted one-on-one support to startups
  • Monitor startups’ progress and write weekly/monthly/final comprehensive reports
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Business or related major.
  • 5+ years of work experience.
  • Previous relevant experience with the job is a MUST.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and experience.
  • Experience in new ventures, strategy consulting, venture capital, product innovation or equivalent is a bonus.
Additional Information
  • Bilingual Arabic/English.
  • The ability to lead a small team and manage a program from soup to nuts – project/program management, client-facing experience, and event planning experience are ideal.
  • Able to oversee and lead operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Capable of multitasking, able to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects with minimal to moderate direction.
