We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager in Saudi Arabia. This is a fantastic chance to advance your career within a leading global TIC business. In this role, you will be a key member of the Middle East and Asia / Asia Pacific (MEAAP) Senior Management Team, and report to the Division Director while assuming a strategic role in the overall management and development of the KSA testing business, including direct responsibility for administration, profit and loss of the business units, growth initiatives, enhancing organizational capability, and providing the optimum structure to execute the plans and general management of the country business. This position will be based in Dammam, KSA .

Core Responsibilities

Profit and Loss responsibility and accountability for laboratory financial performance.
Drive and execute operational performance and deliver results in line with forecasts and expectations.
Ensure development of technical services and processes in support of growth strategy with prime focus on testing services relating to the construction, oil & gas, environmental, food, and general industrial sector and ensure that customer’s technical, quality, and delivery requirements are satisfied.
Work with the sales team to set targets to ensure budgeted sales are achieved and serve as a key relationship partner for high-level customer engagements.
Ensure that reports and quotes satisfy requirements for contract review, technical content, and minimize legal risk.
Effectively deploy a management toolbox with analysis to drive appropriate KPI’s/metric improvement and develop and build a high-performing team.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and practices for Health Safety & Environment and Quality.

Skills / Qualifications

Recognized engineering, management, or professional qualification with at least 8 – 12 years management experience and strong understanding of working in the services sector in Saudi Arabia.
Proven track record of delivering organic growth through the development and implementation of ‘best practice’ management principles at various levels (i.e., recruitment, orientation, performance management, training, talent management, and reward in order to enhance organizational capability and provide the optimum structure to execute the plans and have managed multinational and multicultural teams).
Experience of working with and presenting to senior management teams and management boards.
Strong networking, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required along with strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to speak and read Arabic is essential and should be willing to reside in Dammam, KSA.
