Job Title : Senior Electrical Engineer Location : Ras Laffan, Qatar (Site) Contract : 2-Year Fixed Term | Residential Role | 5 Days per Week Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Ras Laffan, Qatar. This position offers a challenging opportunity to work on high-profile projects within the Oil and Gas industry . The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, project management capabilities, and advanced knowledge of engineering tools to support and drive success in critical engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in electrical engineering for oil and gas projects.
- Participate as a key member of the project management team , contributing to the successful execution of projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Perform advanced electrical design, analysis, and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Manage and oversee electrical engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems across projects.
- Ensure all work aligns with technical competence framework requirements and maintains compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Utilize advanced engineering software tools and systems to drive efficiencies in project design and execution.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Degree in Engineering or Science, majoring in Electrical Engineering .
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering, with at least 4 years in a project management team role within the Oil and Gas industry .
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software tools, systems, and design platforms.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical competence in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
