They are committed to providing their customers with the best products and services and are now looking for a Store Assistant to join their team. Job Overview: As a Store Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our client's store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure that the store runs smoothly and efficiently. Your main duties will include receiving and organizing stock, managing inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and organize stock, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored in the correct location.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and placing orders for new stock as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, assisting them with their inquiries and helping them find the right products for their needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to implement store policies and procedures.
- Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure stock accuracy and prevent loss.
- Help with pricing and merchandising of products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide support during busy periods.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.
- Proficient in using computer systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
- Knowledge of heavy vehicles and auto spare parts is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
