As a Senior Manufacturing Technician at Honeywell in Chonburi, Thailand, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products and services for our customers. Your responsibilities will include assembling and inspecting products to ensure the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work area, monitoring production processes, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, and quality. Key Responsibilities:- Operational Oversight: Monitor and oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations (Mixing, Extruding, Coating, Cutting, SP process, Inspection & Packing) to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently (i.e., process audit, Gemba walk, etc.)
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and cost reduction. Implement changes as needed to enhance productivity and quality (thru Kaizen program, process & machine auditing)
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure it operates correctly. Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades when necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and tests as required to verify product integrity.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians and operators. Share knowledge and best practices to help develop their skills and expertise.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including equipment logs, process parameters, and quality control data. Generate reports on key performance metrics and communicate findings to management.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Identify and mitigate potential hazards or risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of objectives.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during manufacturing processes promptly and effectively. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, introducing new products, or expanding production capacity.
- Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or as requested by Engineer or Manager.
- Graduated High Vocational Certificate or Bachelor's degree in IE, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in Process Technician from manufacturing field.
- Experience in Electronic manufacturing 3 - 5 years is preferred.
- Positive thinking, self-learner.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic English communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Sufficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
