With the largest spa in the Red Sea destination, Miraval The Red Sea is set to redefine wellness luxury in Saudi Arabia. For this eagerly awaited new opening, we are looking for a Pastry Chef to share our vision to create the most imaginative, authentic, and meaningful wellness experiences. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Pastry Chef will oversee the pastry department's operations and contribute to the overall success and growth of the resort by delivering high-quality, mindful, wellness-oriented desserts and baked goods. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute innovative, wellness-focused pastry menus that reflect the Miraval brand's commitment to balance and mindfulness.
- Oversee daily operations of the pastry and bakery kitchen, ensuring consistency and excellence in all products.
- Manage inventory, sourcing premium and sustainable ingredients in alignment with company values.
- Train, inspire, and lead a team of pastry professionals to deliver exceptional results.
- Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards in compliance with corporate and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure synergy between pastry offerings and overall dining experiences.
- Stay informed about global pastry trends, particularly those emphasizing wellness and sustainability, and integrate them into the menu.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Pastry Chef role, preferably in a luxury resort setting, experience in wellness properties a plus.
- Strong experience in managing a creative and multicultural pastry team.
- Hyper-focused on delivering a wellness-inspired, luxury guest experience.
- Up-to-date with current pastry trends, particularly in the context of holistic wellness and sustainability.
- Skilled in inventory control, responsible sourcing, procurement processes, and resource planning.
- Expertise in recruiting, training, and leading a diverse team of professionals.
- Proven track record in managing budgets, operational metrics, and achieving high-quality results.
- Passion for mindfulness, holistic wellness, and luxury hospitality.
