Job Purpose: The Senior Planner will design, develop, monitor, and manage project plans for Water & Waste Water treatment, Reverse Osmosis (RO), Desalination, Distillation, SKID, and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects within the Oil & Gas industry ( Aramco Projects ). This role involves project scheduling, planning, and resource allocation, ensuring timely and cost-effective project execution. The Senior Planner will support the design of project plans, cost estimation, and related functions to achieve strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules for water treatment, RO, and STP or related projects with Aramco / Oil & Gas Companies .
- Collaborate with project teams to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Use planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to prepare and update schedules.
- Support cost estimation and budgeting for project planning and execution.
- Coordinate with cost controllers and engineers to ensure resource optimization.
- Identify resource requirements and develop resource allocation strategies.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, ensuring adherence to schedules.
- Generate progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor external factors, such as supply chain and regulatory changes, impacting timelines.
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to align project schedules with technical requirements.
- Assist in integrating design timelines into overall project plans.
- Provide input on project designs to ensure realistic scheduling and planning.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure effective communication of project timelines, updates, and risks.
- Act as a planning lead in project meetings and workshops.
- Ensure project plans adhere to company policies, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest planning tools, techniques, and best practices in the (Aramco) Oil & Gas and water treatment sectors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in project planning, preferably in Aramco, Oil & Gas, water treatment, RO, STP, or manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience with project planning tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Familiarity with water treatment, RO, and STP project environments is a plus.
