Position Title: Visiting Faculty - Finance Department: Finance Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates Reports To: Head of Department / Dean Position Summary: The University is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Visiting Faculty member to teach Finance courses within the School of Business. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to undergraduate and/or graduate students in finance, ensuring an engaging and dynamic learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Teaching: Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in finance, covering topics such as financial management, investments, corporate finance, financial markets, and accounting.
  2. Course Development: Develop, design, and update course materials and syllabi.
  3. Student Support: Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students, ensuring their learning needs are met.
  4. Assessment: Prepare, grade, and provide feedback on assignments, exams, and projects.
  5. Research & Development: Engage in academic research and stay updated with the latest developments in finance.
  6. Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other academic activities as required by the department.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: A Master’s or Ph.D. in Finance or a related field from a recognized institution.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching and professional experience in finance, preferably in higher education.
  3. Skills: Strong knowledge of financial theories, principles, and tools; ability to engage students through interactive teaching methods; proficient in the use of financial software and tools; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Prior experience teaching in a multicultural academic environment.
  2. Active involvement in research and publication in finance or related fields.
  3. Experience in curriculum development and academic planning.
