Overview M42 is proud to announce its strategic investment partnership with the UAE Ministry of Defence to operate and manage Zayed Military Hospital in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. This collaboration will bring world-class healthcare services to over three million residents in the UAE’s northern regions, including military personnel and their families. M42 will integrate leading healthcare providers such as the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Healthpoint, ensuring access to specialized, precise, and preventative care. M42 is set to officially commence full-scale operations at Zayed Military Hospital in early 2025. This position is responsible for reviewing coding of medical cases, handling claims submission to payers, and all revenue cycle or billing tasks assigned. The role is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the coding in patient health records.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate medical records for accuracy and completeness, ensuring no missing documentation.
  • Provide feedback and training to clinical staff to improve documentation quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Assign correct ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, and other relevant codes for diagnoses and procedures.
  • Assist with external audits by coordinating with auditors and providing accurate records.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to maintain compliance and improve documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians to clarify or resolve discrepancies in clinical documentation.
  • Ensure coding compliance with Department of Health and Dubai Health Authority regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or any relevant fields.
  • 2-3 years of career experience in a hospital environment within the UAE.
  • Coding Certificate by AAPC or AHIMA is required.
